An anonymous Australian climber has just started his guiding career and Whipper has just compiled a collection of photos of the said climber (whom we shall call Mr Attentive) as a cautionary tale… due to our concern for the public’s safety.
Here Mr Attentive is (presumably) teaching someone how to belay, as a young lady who is recovering from 2 broken legs enjoys her first outdoor rock climb.
It seems Mr Attentive isn’t such a hot shot at actually doing the belaying either…
The following photo is not really related to attentive belaying, but we are quite worried about the image this guide will be giving prospective climbers, with behaviour such as this.
Hmmmm.
